Prada Qixi Festival 2026
Celebrated on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, Qixi Festival honors one of China’s most meaningful cultural traditions. It speaks to reunion, devotion, and the invisible bonds that draw people together across distance and time. For Prada, these enduring themes become an exploration of perception and presence, where connection is revealed not through physical proximity but through shared awareness.
For Qixi Festival 2026, Prada collaborates with two contemporary icons of Chinese culture: actress Zhang Yifan and brand ambassadors TransfOrmProject. The story unfolds within the Chapel of Music in Aranya, designed by Vector Architects under the direction of architect Dong Gong. Conceived as an instrument in which sound, light, and air shape the experience of space, its circular geometry becomes the conceptual core of the film: a timeless environment where movement follows architecture, and presence is sensed even without proximity.
Within this suspended setting, two parallel worlds coexist: on one side, Zhang Yifan; on the other, the five members of TransfOrmProject. They never share the same scene or physically meet, yet they remain constantly within each other’s field of vision. The same space appears to belong alternately to one world and then the other, while circular camera movements and mirrored perspectives build a silent dialogue—one that speaks not of romantic love, but of affinity, perception, and unspoken connection.
The collection reflects this interplay between revelation and concealment through material transformation.

Through architecture, gesture and material, for the Qixi Festival 2026 Prada reflects on the ways in which connection is perceived rather than declared—where garments, like the spaces they inhabit, become vehicles for the invisible relationships that bind us across time and distance.
