Prada presents a new pop-up store dedicated to an exclusive selection of men’s ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories. Located at the Isetan Shinjuku department store in Tokyo, the shopping destination will open from 28 May to 17 June.

This new Prada space embodies the dazzling world of the 1950s: a neon-lit environment recalling bowling alleys, diners, and drive-ins – and reflecting the spirit of that era of cultural revolution. The pop-up store immerses visitors within the space. Backlit Venetian blinds on the walls are brought to life by neon logos evoking typical signs from the era, while reworked vintage cars around the perimeter inject dynamism into the products on display. The style of the period that inspired the space is reinforced by the black and white chequered floor and pastel-colored walls.
Amidst these surroundings, Prada’s selection of ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories offers the perfect balance of irreverence and tradition. The selection is fresh and functional, yet sophisticated: lightweight canvas and Re-Nylon jackets; striped, checked, and printed poplin bowling shirts; denim and knitwear in muted colors. Printed t-shirts and lightweight leather garments complete the looks, along with trousers, shorts, and cotton pyjamas. The sneaker offering includes the Montecarlo, made of Aviator Nappa leather and suede; the Imprint, with its bold stitching or floral print decoration; and the Collapse, available in new combinations of colors and materials.
