Prada Pop-up at Isetan The Stage

A new Prada pop-up store will open from 18 to 31 December 2024 at the Isetan Shinjuku department store in Tokyo, featuring a special selection of women’s ready-to-wear, bags, footwear, and accessories.

The space pairs natural materials and meticulously selected architectural details to evoke an intimate and contemporary atmosphere akin to an urban retreat, with a pared-back yet evocative design.

Elegant wooden screens, set against a mustard yellow background, line the pop-up’s perimeter and – along with the tables and counters – foster dynamic dialogue between the various display spaces. The wooden floor is embellished with a large brown leather rug at the center, where a welcoming sitting area is furnished with wood and leather armchairs. Two large lightboxes draw attention to the entrances and enhance the entire space.

This welcoming setting is also reflected in the selection of ready-to-wear and accessories chosen for the occasion. Cashmere outerwear with a contemporary style and varsity-inspired jackets made of cashmere or kid mohair are paired with below-knee-length or mini pleated skirts. Slightly oversized blouses are worn with soft trousers with a classic cut, while cropped and embroidered Re-Nylon padded jackets are paired with relaxed denim garments.

The bag range showcases Prada’s signature models, including the eclectic Prada Soft Sound made of ultra-soft leather, Prada Buckle in cocoa brown suede, and Prada Aimée, available in a wide array of colours, from black and opaline to caramel and amber.

 

The footwear selection is carefully curated to complement the aesthetic of our RTW and bag collections, featuring striking new groups from SS25 alongside exciting mule developments, available for the first time.
