About Pierre Vaultier
Born in Briançon, Pierre Vaultier quickly established himself as a major snowboarding talent, particularly in snowboard cross. He started competing at the age of 10, and after winning the French Championships and finishing third at the U18 World Championships, he joined the French national team. His record is impressive: two-time Olympic champion (2014, 2018), 2017 World champion, 2016 World Cup winner and six-time winner of the Crystal Globe. Pierre Vaultier is one of the greatest snowboard cross athletes of all time. Since the end of his career, Pierre Vaultier has been working with Red Bull to push the boundaries of his sport. His performances on Shapes, Reshapes, Red Bull Dual Shapes and now Floating Shapes are a demonstration of his technical mastery, boundless creativity and constant quest for excellence.
