COOKIE POLICY

Extended information notice on the use of cookies and similar technologies

Prada S.p.A. (“PRADA”), with its registered office in Milan (Italy), the operating holding company of the Prada Group and site manager of www.prada.com hereby provides the following information on the use of cookies and other similar technologies within the website https://www.prada.com/it/en.html (hereinafter the “Website”), as well as any mobile applications or digital platforms (hereinafter the “App”) where this Cookie Policy is referenced or made available.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are sent to the device you use to access the Internet (usually your browser) by the websites you visit. Cookies are stored on your computer or device to be recognised by those websites on your subsequent visits. Each cookie is unique to each browser and device you use to access our Website or App. Cookies do not ordinarily contain executable code and cannot, by themselves, access files stored on your device. However, cookies and similar identifiers may be used, alone or in combination with other information, to recognise a browser or device and to collect information about how the Website or the App is used. In the App environment, the relevant technologies are software development kits (SDKs) and device identifiers rather than browser cookies. References in this Cookie Policy to “cookies” apply mutatis mutandis to these App technologies. Cookies may be set or served through the domain of the website you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or through a domain controlled by another provider (“third-party cookies”). Cookies can be permanently stored in your device until they expire or until you delete them (“permanent cookies”) or they can be automatically eliminated when you abandon the Website or the App or when you close your browser (“session cookies”).

Why do we use cookies?
Cookies are used for several purposes, in order to ensure the correct functioning of the Website and the App and offer an improved and more efficient browsing experience, for instance:

• displaying relevant navigation settings;
• remembering visitors’ preferences;
• improving the overall user experience;
• limiting the number of advertisements shown by preventing the visitor from viewing ads already displayed in the past.

PRADA uses cookies and similar tracking technologies both to ensure the proper functioning of the Website and the App (thanks to technical cookies) and, with your consent, to personalise content, send targeted advertising communications, perform analysis on user behavior and the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns. To this end, identification data such as your email address may be pseudonymised by applying a one-way hashing function and shared with third parties, such as Google, Meta and TikTok. For more information on the processing of this data by the aforementioned media platforms, please see the respective policies that can be accessed via the links in the table below. Some Google analytics and advertising tags may be delivered through Google Tag Gateway, using infrastructure operating under the Website domain. This technical configuration does not change the analytics or advertising purposes of the relevant technologies, Google’s involvement in providing the relevant services, or the consent choices described in this Policy. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are activated in accordance with the preferences expressed through the cookie banner and the Cookie Setting service.

Where you provide consent to marketing cookies, we may use Google Enhanced Conversions to improve the measurement and attribution of advertising conversions.

Consent and management of cookie preferences
When first accessing the App or any page of our Website a banner containing a simplified policy statement is displayed. Within the Website the banner presents the options to “Accept all” and “Reject all” with equal prominence and a link to the Cookie Setting panel for granular choices by categories; no pre-ticked boxes are used. By clicking the “Accept all” button, you consent to the use of all optional cookies, including preference, statistics and marketing cookies. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.
