Prada Frames

IN SIGHT

April 19 - 21, 2026

Admission to Prada Frames, based on availability, upon registration at prada.com from April 13.

Now in its fifth edition, Prada Frames is the annual symposium curated by design and research studio Formafantasma, held alongside Milan’s Salone del Mobile. Focused on ideas rather than products, the initiative sits at the intersection of design, culture, and society, fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue and critical reflection on contemporary issues.

Titled In Sight, this edition explores image-making as a defining element of contemporary culture, where representation often prevails over facts. Approaching the image as a cultural, political, and material force, the symposium examines the tensions between the real and the represented, as distinctions between human-authored and machine-generated images increasingly blur. Through lectures and conversations, the program reflects on visual cultures, the environmental and social costs of digital imagery, the political uses of images, and the economies of attention that shape their circulation.

Prada Frames In Sight takes place at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, with talks hosted in the Sacrestia, a Renaissance space traditionally attributed to Bramante and distinguished by inlaid cabinets depicting early sixteenth-century biblical scenes by Domenico and Francesco Morone.
