Rotor is a collective based in Brussels and founded in 2005, whose members (Tristan Boniver, Lionel Devlieger, Michaël Ghyoot, Maarten Gielen, Benjamin Lasserre, and Melanie Tamm) share an interest in the material flows in industry and construction. “Ex limbo”, Rotor's project at Fondazione Prada, was an investigation of the architectural and scenographic elements produced for the fashion show sets designed by Prada and OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) for more than a decade. After their use, they returned to being raw materials stored in various warehouses.Preface by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, text by Germano Celant, interview by Germano Celant with Rotor.
