This book was published on the occasion of the “Dal Vivo” project, presented by American artist Laurie Anderson (Chicago, 1947) at Fondazione Prada. Curated by the artist and Germano Celant, the project is a meditation on time and on the image that takes shape through the telematic transmission of the body of detainee Santino Stefanini from San Vittore Penitentiary to the spaces of the Foundation. The technologies involved allow us to explore the "double" theme in an attempt to establish a parallel between incarnation and incarceration, art and life, isolation and meditation, artistic space and penitentiary.
