How can I know if my Prada item is authentic?
Prada products are available exclusively through our official stores, the www.prada.com website, and an authorized retail network. Prada guarantees product authenticity through the Aura Blockchain Consortium.

What is an NFC tag?
Near-Field Communication technology (NFC) connects two NFC-enabled devices, provided they are in close proximity to each other. This technology can be embedded into an object through an electronic tag.
The NFC tag can exchange information with a compatible smartphone when held nearby.
Where do I find the NFC tag on my product?
In most cases, the NFC tag is not visible, as it is integrated inside Prada products.
The positioning of the NFC tag varies depending on the product category:
Leather Goods: near the external logo, the buckle, the internal 'Made in' label, or on the dedicated external card.
Footwear: under the sole of the left shoe or on the dedicated external card.
Read to Wear: sewn onto the internal label of the garment or on the dedicated external card.
Jewelry: inside the dedicated card.
Home: inside the dedicated card.
No personal data is stored within the tags.
Can I deactivate the NFC tag?
The NFC tag can be irreversibly deactivated at any time. This will prevent access to the associated features. For more information, please contact Prada Client Service.
How can I obtain my Digital Certificate of Ownership?
Starting from March 2026, for a selection of Re-Nylon for Sea Beyond products, you will be able to request your Digital Certificate of Ownership.
After purchase, you can request the Digital Certificate of Ownership by tapping the NFC tag integrated inside the internal label of your product. Once the tap is complete, enter your details and request the certificaate by selecting 'Request certificate'. The request will be processed, and you will be able to download the certificate directly to the Wallet on your device after receiving confirmation via email.

What are the benefits of the Digital Certificate of Ownership?
Once you have obtained your Digital Certificate of Ownership, you will be entitled to two additional years of free repair services for any manufacturing defects in your product.
These additional repair services constitute a commercial warranty granted by the Prada Group that applies from the expiration of the legal warranty of conformity and does not affect the consumer's statutory rights, including the right to a legal warranty of conformity.
This commercial warranty does not cover repairs resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, or abuse of the product.
To take advantage of the repair services provided under this commercial warranty, you must go to a Prada store with your product and request assistance from our staff.
Can I share my Digital Certificate of Ownership?
No, the Digital Certificate of Ownership is non-transferable and is issued exclusively to the person to whose email address it is registered.
What happens to the Digital Certificate of Ownership if I return my product?
In the event of a return, Prada reacquires ownership of the returned items and the relevant Digital Certificate of Ownership will no longer be considered valid.
